Participated in a virtual hackathon in which 50 students were split into teams, and competed by solving 9 complex JavaScript problems with the fastest time.

During this six-week summer program, learned different areas of front-end development and was able to work with many ambitious peers; together, we created several projects, with the implimentation of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Worked with peers to build a robot. Near the end of the school year, we took part in a competition against other schools and had our robots compete.

Fitness Blog Platform
  • Developed a website for fitness advocates to share what their daily health regiment looks like
  • Created a simple user friendly website using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
  • Utilized the ExpressJS framework to easily control the users request through middlewares
  • Implemented the MVC design pattern to create easily readable and concise code

Interests

Apart from staying inside and expanding my programming knowledge, I enjoy most of my time outdoors. When the weather is not too cold, I like fishing with friends, going on hikes, or going for walks in Central Park.

When the weather is cold, and I am forced to stay inside, I like to go to the gym and hit new PRs. I also like to try out new burger spots since I am very passionate about burgers.
